Cookie Season 2027 will be updated with more info soon.... (check back in January)
Girl Scout Cookie Season is about so much more than cookies. It is one of the biggest ways Girl Scouts learn real world entrepreneurial skills while helping fund unforgettable experiences, community service projects, badges, travel opportunities, and leadership activities throughout the year.
When girls participate in cookie sales, they are learning:
Goal setting
Money management
Decision making
Customer service
Business ethics
Communication and confidence
Girls work together to create goals for their troop and decide how they want to use the funds they earn. Whether it’s camping trips, science activities, community outreach, museum visits, badge workshops, or even dreaming big about future travel adventures, cookie season helps turn those goals into reality.
For many girls, this is their very first experience running a small business. They learn how to speak with customers, manage inventory, market products, work as a team, and understand the value of hard work and responsibility. These are life skills that stay with them long after cookie season ends.
Cookie sales also support Girl Scouts of Northern California as a whole. A portion of cookie proceeds helps fund:
Camp properties and outdoor programs
Financial assistance and scholarships
Volunteer training and resources
STEM, leadership, and life skill programs
Safety and support services
Community outreach programs that make Girl Scouts accessible to more girls
By supporting Girl Scout Cookies, you are helping build courage, confidence, and character in girls across Northern California while also helping local troops create meaningful experiences and lifelong memories.
Every box purchased supports something bigger than cookies - it supports girls learning to lead.
