Current Event: Girl Scouts at Hot August Nights! 

Our Girl Scout Troop 31822 is proud to be participating in Hot August Nights every Thursday in August! You can find our girls at our craft booth at Georgia Street & Marin Street in Vallejo, where they are selling crafts they have spent countless hours creating themselves. 💚

This booth is about so much more than selling crafts. Girl Scouts gives girls the opportunity to learn what it means to be an entrepreneur. They are creating products, deciding what to sell, interacting with customers, learning how to handle money, track sales, work as a team, and see firsthand what it takes to turn an idea into something people want to buy.

Through Girl Scout fundraising — from Fall Product and Cookie Sales to girl-led fundraisers like this one — the girls learn how to manage the funds they earn and then put those funds back into their troop. Those dollars help pay for badges, activities, educational opportunities, community service projects, and their goal of traveling to Hawaii together. 🌺✈️

Our girls are also learning that fundraising can be a way to give back. Troop 31822 has participated in community cleanups, supported local organizations, helped at the food bank, collected and donated care packages, and hosted a free Breakfast with Santa for the community.

Every purchase at our booth is helping support these girls and the experiences they are working hard to create for themselves and their community.

Every Thursday in August in Downtown Vallejo

Our Girl Scout troop is hard at work preparing for Hot August Nights! This will be a girl-led craft booth where the girls help brainstorm ideas, create products, and plan what they want to sell.

The girls have narrowed their main focuses down to:
✨ Bracelets
✨ Slime
✨ Bath Bombs

But that’s not all! Our troop is full of creative girls with many different talents. Some awesome things you will find at our booths include:

✨ Art Kits
✨ Resin crafts like earrings, bookmarks and coasters
✨ Beautiful sewed pillows

✨ Crochet  Stuffies like  hamsters and octopuses
✨ Fire Starters
✨ Origami

The girls are putting a lot of time, creativity, and heart into this project and would truly appreciate community support.

Visit our booth
Come support the girls every Thursday in August during Hot August Nights! The girls will be selling handmade crafts they created themselves while learning leadership, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and creativity.

This fundraiser will help support troop activities and future opportunities, including helping the girls work toward their goal of traveling to Hawaii in the next two years. Part of the proceeds earned will help fund activities and experiences during that trip.
