This Website is independently created and maintained by Volunteers and/or local service units. It is NOT an official website of the Girl Scouts of Northern California or Girl Scouts of the USA.
Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low in Savannah, Georgia, Girl Scouts began with just 18 girls and a mission to empower young women through leadership, service, and adventure. Over the past century, the organization has grown into one of the largest and most influential leadership programs for girls in the United States.
From camping and community service to science, technology, entrepreneurship, and outdoor exploration, Girl Scouts has continually evolved to help girls build confidence, courage, and character. Today, millions of Girl Scouts and alumni continue the tradition of making a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
Girl Scouts uphold the Promise and Law in everything they do. Often recited at the start of a troop meeting or gathering, the Girl Scout Promise and Law remind us to be honest, to help people at all times, and to make the world a better place.
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God* and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
On my honor, I will try:
To support my Girl Scout and her troop,
To help girls lead at all times,
And to always keep it fun!
I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong,
and responsible for what I say and do,
and to respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place,
and be a sister to every Girl Scout.
Welcome to Girl Scouts Troop 31822, a multi-level troop proudly based in Vallejo where girls of different ages come together to grow, lead, create, and support one another. Our troop includes Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes, giving girls the opportunity to learn from each other, build friendships across age groups, and grow into confident young leaders.
Troop 31822 is built around the idea that girls learn best by doing. Whether they are planning events, voting on troop goals, creating handmade crafts, organizing community projects, or preparing for future travel adventures, the girls play an active role in shaping the direction of the troop. We believe leadership starts with giving girls real opportunities to make decisions, solve problems, work as a team, and see their ideas come to life.
Our troop is proud to be deeply connected to the Vallejo community. Throughout the year, the girls participate in service projects, local events, community partnerships, and hands-on activities that teach responsibility, compassion, creativity, and entrepreneurship. We also encourage the girls to explore skills beyond traditional scouting experiences through crafting, outdoor adventures, budgeting, business skills, teamwork, and goal setting.
One thing that makes Troop 31822 special is our focus on creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories. The girls work hard toward exciting goals, including larger travel opportunities and special troop adventures, while learning the value of teamwork, planning, and perseverance along the way.
Above all else, Troop 31822 is a place where girls are encouraged to be themselves, support one another, build confidence, and discover what they are capable of in a positive and welcoming environment.
We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at the Vallejo Naval & Historical Museum. Access to our meeting space is through the parking lot entrance.
For the safety and privacy of our girls, meetings are closed to the public. If you are interested in learning more about our troop or attending a meeting, please contact us in advance so arrangements and notifications can be made.
